The Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God

With all of the craziness in the world today, it’s easy to get lost in the endless battles that go back and forth. One side says this is true, while the other says the exact opposite. Which side is right? Is either side right? What is the truth, and what is a lie?
In this world of relativism, how can we know what’s really true?

Where do we go for absolute truth?

God knows, and I mean that literally. God knows all truth, past, present, and future. He wants and expects us to know the truth and right from wrong. This is why God gave us His word, which is the absolute truth of God, preserved for us today in the Bible, the King James Bible, to be precise. The Word of God, which is found in the Bible, declares the truth and gives us the solid foundation that we all yearn for in this crazy world. The Lord Jesus Christ (The word of God made flesh) declares that He is “the truth.”

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

(John 14:6 KJV)

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

(John 1:14 KJV)

We can know the difference between right and wrong—between the truth and a lie.

By studying God’s Word, we can know the difference between right and wrong and between the truth and a lie. Here at Truth IsInThe Scriptures, we will help you navigate this crazy world by using God’s word to cut through the world’s lies by shining the light of God’s word on the narrow path that leads to eternal life in heaven.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

(Psalms 119:105 KJV)

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

(Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV)

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

(Psalms 12:6-7 KJV)

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

(2 Timothy 2:15 KJV)

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

(1 John 5:13 KJV)

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

(1 John 5:20 KJV)
