Satan’s Attempt To Corrupt the Pure Words of God
From the beginning of time, the serpent has attempted to corrupt the pure words of God. Be alert! Don’t be deceived when the Devil and his agents ask, “hath God said?”
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
(Genesis 3:1 KJV)
Look For The Pure Words Of The LORD
God is perfect—therefore His words are perfect. We can trust God to keep His promise to preserve His words.
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
(Psalms 12:6-7 KJV)
Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
(Matthew 24:35 KJV)
The Fight Continues Today
The fight continues today in modern “bible” translations. Do you have the pure words of God, or a corrupted “bible?” Use the Scripture tests below to see.
Corrupted “bible” Test – Isaiah 14:12
Christians have always known that Lucifer is the angel that fell from heaven when he rebelled against God. Why do modern “bibles” confuse the reader by changing the word of God?
Who are they trying to protect? What is the angel’s name that fell from heaven? Is it Lucifer as in the KJV, or O Day Star?
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
(Isaiah 14:12 KJV)
Modern “bibles” imply that it was Jesus Christ who fell from heaven instead of Lucifer. They sneak in this heresy by changing Lucifer to Day Star or similar variants. But Day Star and Morning Star are clear references to the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:19 & Revelation 22:16 KJV). Jesus Christ did not fall from heaven, He created it. It was Lucifer that fell from heaven. This is clearly the work of the devil—not a simple mistranslation.
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
(2 Peter 1:19 KJV)
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
(Revelation 22:16 KJV)
Correct
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
(Isaiah 14:12 KJV)
Corrupted
How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, that didst lay low the nations!
(Isaiah 14:12 ASV)
How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!
(Isaiah 14:12 ESV)
King of Babylon, bright morning star, you have fallen from heaven! In the past you conquered nations, but now you have been thrown to the ground.
(Isaiah 14:12 GNT)
How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations!
(Isaiah 14:12 NASB)
How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
(Isaiah 14:12 NIV)
“How you are fallen from heaven, O shining star, son of the morning! You have been thrown down to the earth, you who destroyed the nations of the world.
(Isaiah 14:12 NLT)
How you have fallen from heaven, O shining one, son of the dawn! How you have been cut down to the earth,You who vanquished nations!
(Isaiah 14:12 NWT)
REMEMBER
Lucifer fell from heaven, not Jesus Christ.
The Lord Jesus Christ—God in the Flesh, is also known as The Morning Star and The Day Star.
